 While some animals can appear cute and cuddly, they can become aggressive when they feel threatened. They can also be carriers of zoonotic diseases such as: rabies, toxoplasmosis, raccoon roundworm and leprocy, just to name a few.  Animals in urbanized enviroments often become used to close contact with people and their pets, this should not be mistaken for the animal "being tame" the correct term is urbanized and remember, they are called wild for a reason.
